Our Purpose

The pupose of the club is to promote fellowship among former students and friends of Texas A&M. A primary goal is to support academic scholarships to attend Texas A&M for graduates of Capital City Area Highschools. While providing monies for this and other charitable causes, we enhance the public image of Texas A&M University. We also cooperate with and assist the officials of Texas A&M and the Association of Former Students.

Message From The President

Howdy Austin Aggies!

It is an honor to be serving as the 2012 Capital City A&M Club President.  I am proud to be representing you, the Aggies of Central Texas, alongside a group of outstanding individuals.  This year, your CCAMC Board has been working hard to provide opportunities for you to stay connected to Texas A&M and the Aggie Network.

Leadership works throughout the year to bring you local Aggie events such as Aggie Muster, Coach’s Night, our Monday Lunch Program, Reveille Group, happy hours, basketball bus trips, watch parties, intramurals and family events.  Most importantly, we are continuing our efforts to create a lasting legacy for helping future Aggies attend Texas A&M University through our academic scholarship program.  

Our club is able to carry out its mission because each of you has made a conscious effort to carry the Aggie Spirit forward.   Your contributions through dues, donations and your volunteer service make all of this possible, and it is greatly appreciated!  If you haven’t already done so, I invite you to find your place in the Capital City A&M Club.  There are many volunteer opportunities and plenty of events to attend, so I hope you’ll visit our website periodically, sign up for our weekly e-newsletter, and find out more about how you can stay connected to the Aggie Network right here in Austin!  Visit our membership page, and join us today!
