President's Night 2021

The Capital City A&M Club welcomes Texas A&M University's 26th President, Dr. M. Katherine Banks, to Austin. You are invited to participate in an intimate dinner setting at the Austin Club to learn about Dr. Banks perspective as she begins her tenure as President.

Before becoming the President, Dr. Banks served with distinction as Vice Chancellor of Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering for nine years. She helped elevate the College into the top tier of programs around the nation, guiding and coordinating engineering, academic, and research programs at seven universities throughout the Texas A&M System, as well as providing oversight for three engineering state agencies.

Dr. Banks also helped establish Texas A&M's Engineering Medicine program, know as EnMed. This interdisciplinary program was created to help physicians design transformational technologies, leading to new innovations that improve human health and save lives.
