15 Annual Maroon & White Wine Tasting (winery tour edition)
We are mixing things up for the event this year and plan to explore some amazing Aggie-owned wineries together in the nearby hill country on an Austin Aggie charter bus! You will be able to try wines at each location and then spend some additional time enjoying their spaces, maybe grab a full glass of your favorite and/or purchase bottles in anticipation of the holidays!
When: Saturday November 23, 2024
Tentative Itinerary:
12:00PM - Park in South Austin at C.L. Butaud and enjoy the first tasting (415 E St Elmo Rd, Austin, TX 78745)
1:00PM - Hop on the bus to the hill country
2:15PM - Arrive at William Chris Vineyards for the second tasting (10352 US-290, Hye, TX 78635)
3:30PM - Hop on the bus for a short drive around the corner
3:45PM - Arrive at 12 Fires Winery & Vineyard for the third tasting (12 Twelve Fires Rd, Johnson City, TX 78636)
4:45PM - Hop on the bus to return to South Austin (415 E St Elmo Rd, Austin, TX 78745)
Enjoy a mobile wine tasting courtesy of Vinovium Winery!
Additional Details:
Charter bus will have water and snacks while we are on the road.
You can purchase additional glasses of wine after the tasting or buy bottles to take home.
We will be giving away one free bottle of wine from each winery!
