Coach’s Night 2026

As part of updated engagement planning from the Texas A&M Athletic Department, Head Football Coach Mike Elko will not be attending Coach’s Night in Austin this year. The department is implementing a rotation of Coach Elko’s appearances among A&M Clubs across Texas, providing him additional time to focus on recruiting efforts and continuing to build a championship culture for Texas A&M Football.

While we will miss the opportunity to host Coach Elko this year, the Capital City A&M Club is excited to offer a new and engaging program in his place. Our mission remains unchanged: raising funds to support scholarships for area high school students pursuing an education at Texas A&M.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to sharing more details about this year’s program soon.

Coach’s Night 2025 was a huge success.

One of the primary objectives of the Capital City A&M Club is to provide scholarships to Austin-area high school students who plan to attend Texas A&M University. Over the past 20 years, with the continued support and contributions from you, the members of the Capital City A&M Club have contributed more than $1,340,000 in scholarships.

This year the Capital City A&M Club will continue awarding $5,000 scholarships to Austin-area high school students who plan to start their freshman year at Texas A&M University in College Station this fall. Each recipient will receive $1,250 each fall and spring semester for a total of four semesters. The Capital City A&M Club Foundation funds the scholarships from the wonderful generosity of club members and supporters. With the help of members and volunteers, the Capital City A&M Club coordinates the administration of the scholarships to ensure we make an impact on future Aggies.
